The Nosticova Residence is a historic 17th century Residence, located on a small quiet cobblestone street in Mala Strana, a mere two minutes walk from Prague's famous Charles Bridge. On this walk are about 20 foreign embassies (British, German, French, Italian and Japanese to name a few), the Czech Parliament and Senate, several ministries, prominent concert halls and galleries as well as leading restaurants serving national and international cuisine. Nearby are Saint Nicholas' Cathedral and the National Theatre.
The enchantment and elegance of this building were recently renewed thanks to a complete reconstruction - a number of celebrated conservators of Czech Castles and Churches, as well as skilled plasterers, carpenters, decorators, ceramists and fresco painters worked for two years with attention to details and with respect for beauty.
